Privacy Policy

We collect information you provide when creating an account, including your name, email address, and profile photo (when signing in with Google). We collect payment information through our payment processor — we never store your full card details directly. We collect usage data including uploaded images, generated images, generation history, and billing history to provide and improve our services.

We use your information to provide the Modernaview service, process payments, send transactional emails (receipts, password resets, account notifications), and prevent fraud and abuse. We analyze aggregate usage patterns to improve the service. We do not sell, rent, or share your personal information with third parties for marketing purposes.

Images you upload are sent to third-party AI providers solely to generate the requested transformations. These providers process your images under their own privacy policies and data processing agreements. Your images are stored securely to display your generation history. You may delete individual generations at any time from your account. We do not use your images to train AI models.

We work with trusted third-party service providers to operate Modernaview, including providers for payment processing, AI image generation, database hosting, file storage, authentication, and analytics. These providers process data only as necessary to deliver their services and are bound by appropriate data processing agreements.

We use one essential session cookie to keep you logged in. This cookie is strictly necessary for the service to function and does not require consent.

We also use website analytics to understand how visitors use Modernaview — pages visited, time on site, and general usage patterns. Analytics cookies are only activated after you provide consent via our cookie banner. You may decline analytics cookies at any time — if declined, no analytics data is collected about your visit. Your preference is saved in your browser so you will not be asked again on repeat visits.

If you sign in with Google, a temporary security cookie is used during the login process and is deleted immediately after.

We retain your account data and generated images for as long as your account is active. If you delete your account, we will delete or anonymize your personal data within 30 days, except where retention is required by law (such as billing records, which we retain for 7 years for tax compliance).

We implement industry-standard security measures including password hashing, HTTPS encryption, secure HttpOnly session cookies, signed tokens, and database-backed session validation. No system is completely secure and we cannot guarantee absolute security. We will notify you promptly in the event of a breach affecting your data.

Depending on your location, you may have the right to access, correct, export, or delete your personal data. You can delete your generated images directly from the app. To request a full data export or account deletion, contact us at privacy@modernaview.com. We will respond within 30 days.

If you are located in the European Economic Area (EEA), United Kingdom, or Switzerland, you have additional rights under GDPR including the right to object to processing, the right to data portability, and the right to lodge a complaint with your local data protection authority.

Modernaview is not directed at children under 18. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children. If you believe a child has provided us with personal information, please contact us and we will delete it promptly.

We may update this privacy policy from time to time. We will notify active users of material changes via email at least 14 days before they take effect. Continued use of the service after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated policy.
